Big E behind the stove at Viva Brazil

Big E., aka Eric Austin will cook Brazillian.
Big E, a.k.a. Eric Austin, is on his way back! Apparently the soul food chef created the menu for Viva Brazil at 913 W. Lake Street, and will head the kitchen for the first six months. Austin told Jeremy Iggers that the restaurant is expected to open in April and will offer "E's, Brazilian style, with a neo twist."

Prices will be lower than Minneapolis's most notable Brazilian spot, the Fogo de Chao steakhouse downtown, with entrees costing about $8 to $15 range. Austin also said that he's still interested in resurrecting Big E's Soul, and is considering a spot in the Midtown Global Market (hopefully one of the smaller stalls, as the former home of Jade Asian is seeming a little cursed...)
