Food truck food court coming to St. Paul

Jill Wilson and the 128 Cafe Food Truck

​Wednesdays this summer, downtown St. Paul will handily have food truck vendors in one easy to spot location. Spearheaded by 128 Cafe's owner, Jill Wilson, the city will be hooding parking meters for food trucks to rally at Kellogg and Wabasha. 

We're sure the location, directly across from City Hall, is only coincidence and did nothing to garner speedy approval.

Beginning Wednesday, May 18, and running through September, downtown St. Paul workers can expect to find Wilson and chef Ian Pierce in their truck, as well as other familiar favorites. The list is still being confirmed, but we expect to see Gastrotruck, serving gastropub fare, literally chef-driven by former Cosmos chef Stephen Trojahn, a Fork in the Road truck run by self-declared food geniuses Kari Offerdahl and Amy Frechette, the giant purple gourmet hot dog purveyors from the Magic Bus, and the mini-doughnut mavens of the Chef Shack. There may be more; stay tuned to find out.
