Delicious and quick at the airport! Who knew?

No one really likes the airport. Parking, security lines, delays and long flights all add to the stress of traveling. Luckily, Surdyk's Flights Wine Market & Bar at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport has figured out a way to put a smile on weary travelers' faces: Easy, quick and delicious airport food. Their menu ranges from wine flights to cheese plates, but when you're on the go, you can't do much better than their chicken banh mi sandwich.

This sandwich is a far cry from the soggy, limp, bland sandwiches we've come to expect from airport vendors. The folks at Surdyks starts this tasty sandwich with a crusty and chewy Rustica baguette then packs it full of freshly grilled chicken, cool cucumber slices, a tart daikon radish and carrot slaw, jalapenos, cilantro and mayonnaise. This convenient sandwich is spicy, meaty and completely delicious. Grab one of these pre-wrapped beauties from the case, add a freshly baked cookie from Rustica and a cold gourmet soda and you have yourself a restaurant-worthy meal you can enjoy from the comfort (or discomfort) of your own plane seat. Flying never tasted so good.
