Youth Farm and Market Project recruits top chefs for fundraising dinner
The Youth Farm and Market Project has been going 16 years strong, giving more than 500 youth ages 9 to18 hands-on training in urban agriculture--planting, growing, and selling food--in the Lyndale and Powderhorn neighborhoods in Minneapolis and the West Side neighborhood in St. Paul. ![]()

The program is hosting its annual fundraising dinner on May 21, a family-style meal served on the terrace of the Alfred Pillsbury Mansion (116 East 22nd Street, Minneapolis) prepared by Alex Roberts of Restaurant Alma and Brasa and Lucia Watson of Lucia's.
A silent auction will follow, with such prized items as dinner for 10 prepared by Alex Roberts at Restaurant Alma, an in-home dinner for six prepared by Scott Pampuch of Corner Table, and a week's stay in Lucia Watson's home in Brittany, France.
Tickets cost $125, $250, or $500 and may be ordered here.
