And a fine National Cognac Day to all.
It's almost the day you have been waiting for: National Cognac Day is June 4, and we are ready to party with fancy French brandy. Here is a vintage cocktail recipe to get you psyched. Now we just have to figure out what "tremulously" means...

Ritz Sidecar
From Ted Haigh, a.k.a. Dr. Cocktail, Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails

5 parts very old cognac
3 parts Cointreau
2 parts fresh lemon juice

Shake in an iced cocktail shaker, strain tremulously into a chilled cocktail glass, and stare at the treasure in rapt silence for a full 15 seconds before quaffing.

*If your cognac is not very old, then just call this drink a Sidecar and drink up."
