Canterbury Park, back from shutdown, hosts food truck and wine festivals
Canterbury Park is making up for time lost during the state shutdown by hosting two foodie events next month.
Canterbury hosts two upcoming foodie events.
On Saturday, August 13, Canterbury is rounding up a whole host of mobile kitchens for a Food Truck Festival to feed race-watchers. Participating vendors include 128 Cafe, Smack Shack, Natedogs, Grill Works, Fork in the Road, Eli's Donut Burgers, Simply Steve's, World Street Kitchen, Hola Arepa, Gastro Truck, and Vellee Deli. Gates open at noon, first race at 1:30 p.m.
On Friday August 19, Canterbury Uncorked takes place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., with racing from 7 to 10 p.m. A selection of wines and appetizers will be available for sampling. Cost is $40.
