| Food trucks unite in downtown Saint Paul |
With the overwhelming success of the original St. Paul food truck court at City Hall, it was clear the public was clamoring for more. The city responded, working again with Jill Wilson of the 128 Cafe to hood a few parking meters and gather a group of trucks (and one groovy bus).
Today, Magic Bus, Chef Shack, Fork in the Road, Simply Steve's, Vellee Deli, and 128 Cafe trucks lined up on Cedar St. between 10th and 11th streets. Not all the food was human-centric. Barkley's Bistro's bicycle was also on hand, selling chef made dog treats made with locally sourced ingredients.
Open every Monday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, the trucks operate under the Twitter hashtag #MondayFoodTruckRally. Check out a few photos from today's rally:
