Brunch for Bastille Day!
What better way to celebrate France's National Celebration than to dine like one refueling after having just stormed the Bastille?

Hotel Sofitel, the south metro's nexus of French culture, will be hosting a Bastille Day Grand Buffet at its Colette Bar & Bistro on Sunday, July, 17, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The menu includes juices and hot drinks, plus house wines, mimosas or bloody Marys. Food choices include buffet classics like carved turkey, smoked ham, fresh seafood, smoked salmon, and an omelet station, plus, a sushi station, pasta cooked "a la minute," and eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon. For Francophiles, there will be beef bourguignon, a crêpes station, and a large selection of French desserts.

Jazz vocalist, Maud Hixson, who often performs with the French 75, will be giving a performance for diners.

The cost is $48 per person ($22 for children ages 6 to 11, complimentary for 5 and under) and reservations are recommended by calling 952.835.1900 or by emailing
rebecca.norberg@sofitel.com.
