American Joe moves from Blaine to St. Paul.
American Joe's owners closed the cafe's doors in Blaine on September 2 in order to move the business to downtown St. Paul.

Owners Eric Sandrock and Brad Ireland, who also own the American Burger Bar & American Burger Emporium restaurants, are moving Joe to the former Murphy's Landing in the Victory Ramp (where they also operate an American Burger Bar), and the Pioneer Press reports they're shooting for a November 1 opening.

The shop will focus on low-cost coffee (cheaper than the nearby Dunn Bros. and Starbucks) and hot dogs, as well as offering taco Tuesday specials.
