​The holiday season is upon us, and here at the Hot Dish we have pies baking in the oven, turkeys brining, wine decanting, and good cheer shining on all mankind. We also have lots of great stories that we wouldn't want you to miss. Here are a few of the week's best.

~Sure, scarf and mitten time is here, but that doesn't mean you can't still shop for farm-fresh produce.

~There is local beer news galore this week with Lift Bridge's new Barleywine release and Fulton Beer selling its first batch of growlers.
