Granite City Food & Brewery buys 7 Cadillac Ranch restaurants (including Mall of America location)

​Granite City Food & Brewery has purchased the net assets of seven Cadillac Ranch restaurants, the company announced Friday. That includes the Cadillac Ranch All American Restaurant Bar & Grill in the Mall of America. Minneapolis-based Granite City is known for serving familiar appetizers and entrees with a bit of a twist, as well for a wide selection of beer.

Cadillac Ranch also serves traditional appetizers in its nine locations, which include restaurants in Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, in addition to the Bloomington, Minnesota, location.

"There are some great synergies related to Granite City's food and beer that we may incorporate into Cadillac Ranch restaurants," CCO Dean Oakey said in a press release. Cadillac Ranch is known not only for its American cuisine but also for its entertainment, which includes a sound system blaring classic and modern rock. Cadillac Ranch restaurants, which are often as large as 10,000 square feet, are often used for catered events such as parties and wedding receptions.
