| Maruso will offer bahn mi sandwiches and pho |
The 700 block of Hennepin is about to get a new neighbor, which is good news for foodies who want a downtown option somewhere in between fast food and fine dining.
The space that was once home to To Soho, the clothing store next to Barfly, is set to be the new site of affordable Asian eatery Maruso Street Food and Cocktails, according to
the Downtown Journal. The restaurant plans to serve a quick bite to busy downtown professionals, including Vietnamese favorites like pho and bahn mi sandwiches and other pan-Asian dishes. It also plans to have a full bar, as its name suggests, and hope to offer outdoor seating.
Look for Maruso Street Food and cocktails to open some time in February.
