Peeps store opens at Mall of America

The love-'em-or-hate-'em marshmallow candies can be found in a newly opened 2,500-foot retail store that has gotten local attention with a story in the Pioneer Press. It's located in Nickolodeon Universe.
Peeps & Company is the retail arm of Just Born, Inc., which makes Goldenberg's Peanut Chews, Mike and Ikes, Hot Tamales, and Teenee Beanees, as well as Peeps. The store offers apparel and gifts, in addition to candy.
The Mall of America location is the second Peeps & Company retail store. The first, in National Harbor, Marlyand, opened in 2009. The online store launched in early 2011.
