Stewart Woodman announces new restaurant Birdhouse

Heidi and Stewart Woodman are opening another restaurant

​We first heard a rumor that Stewart Woodman, chef and owner of Uptown's Heidi's, had bought the house that once was home to Duplex.  Yesterday, word came out that Woodman is moving ahead with plans to open a second restaurant. Woodman, along with his wife (and inspiration) Heidi, will be calling their new restaurant "Birdhouse" and the plan is to serve farm fresh, healthy food. Woodman was quoted in Minnesota Monthly's Dara & Co blog saying the restaurant will have, "A lot of raw vegetables.  It's going to be healthy, a lot of vegetarian and vegan offerings, something that's good for our bodies."
