Wellman's Pub will take over Drink downtown location

The space that was once home to the downtown location of Drink won't be empty for very long. Wellman's Pub, an Iowa-based bar and restaurant chain with two locations in Des Moines, will open its first Minnesota store on the busy corner of North Fifth Street and North First Avenue, according to the Downtown Journal. 
Wellman's will replace the downtown Drink
Wellman's menu features wings, burgers (including a Juicy Lucy), sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and other standard-looking pub fare, but, like Drink, will more likely attract drinkers over diners.
The Wellman's Pub in West Des Moines has a large rooftop patio, but there is no word yet on whether they will build one at the new Minneapolis location.
