Spring is nearly here! The birds are chirping, the garden is starting to bloom, and in perhaps the clearest sign that winter is behind us, the Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington (how fitting) will be giving away free macarons in its bakery.
You can't spell macarons without the letters F R E E
You read that right. Tomorrow, March 20, from 7 a.m. to noon, the pastry that made the nation of France great will be free to anyone who wants to gorge on the spring-themed pastel pink, green, and yellow delights. The offer is open to anyone who visits the bakery, not just hotel guests.
