Minneapolis firefighter victorious in wing-eating competition

Dan Nalepka is a two-time champion of the wing-eating contest.
Dan Nalepka, a rig operator for the Minneapolis Fire Department, helped win a charity wing-eating contest at Buffalo Wild Wings in Roseville earlier this week.

The "Wing Challenge" event is an annual competition between Minneapolis and St. Paul firefighters designed to raise food donations for the Salvation Army.

Each team gets 10 minutes and 100 "Blazin'" buffalo wings. Every wing they eat translates to a two-pound donation, and the winning team gets an extra 100-pound donation in its name. Food is donated by Jerry's Foods, based out of Edina and Eden Prairie.

Nalepka's team ate 57 wings; St. Paul ate 55. Nalepka also won the event last year. Here's a picture of Nalepka in action:
