|Mona makes her grand debut|
The highly anticipated opening of Mona, chef Lisa Hanson's new restaurant and bar, is coming soon. Hanson, whose resume includes stints at Aquavit and L'Atelier du Joel Robuchon, both in New York, before coming to Minneapolis and spending some time with Scott Pampuch's Corner Table, will now be master of her own destiny, and it sounds delicious.
She'll be cooking fun, comforting foods with her refined technique. The space will feature an open kitchen, bar seating, and a patio. She has taken over the old Black Bamboo space at the base of the Accenture tower. Mona will also offer free underground parking valet for diners after 4 p.m.
The grand opening is Wednesday, April 18, and restaurant will start taking reservations this Friday. Once things get rolling, Mona's hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, and 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturdays (closed Sundays.)
