Northstar Bartenders Guild announces next event
The Northstar Bartenders Guild creates dazzling cocktail experiences. From the kickoff for Johnny Michaels's cocktail book to the after-New Year's party, these events are packed with fantastic beverages, elegant bites of food, and a cache of extraordinary personalities.
These guys really know how to throw a party
This year they're combining two events of note into one blowout celebration.
Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby fall on the same day this year, so guild members decided their next party would simultaneously celebrate both. It will be held May 5 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Bridgewater Lofts. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society.
We were able to confirm with one of the event organizers and guild member Ben Quam (who tends the bar at Kieran's) that there really will be mint juleps and margaritas. When asked if he thought that guests would go all the way with the wardrobe selection, he laughed, "I hope so! Yeah, like giant hats and everything. It's going to be really cool."
