Because happiness shouldn't end at 6 p.m.
Few things in life are more disappointing than arriving to a bar just in time to get your drink order in for the end of happy hour. Who can leave work, park, and order all before 6:00? Here's a roundup of some of our city's happy hours that last into the wee hours, and a few that are never-ending.

Pancho Villa: 2-for-1 margaritas and tap beers until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays ensure the post-work bitch session will last almost until the next day at the office.

The Vegas Lounge: Two Buck Tuesdays. All domestic taps are just $2 all day. You'll work up the courage to do karaoke and be singing a tuneless version of  "I Believe I Can Fly" before dinnertime.

The Saloon: Rail drinks and domestic beers are just $2.50 until 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. Very, very dangerous. Trust us.

Blarney Pub and Grill: $3 taps and $4 Jameson and ginger ales until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays will certainly help you get over the midweek hump.

Rudolph's: 2-for-1 draft beers, house wines, well drinks until 7 p.m., Monday through Friday means you will definitely be ready for ribs by 8.

Tom Reid's: One of the best-kept secret happy hours in town, especially Thursday nights, when PBR tallboys are $2 all. night. long.

Red Dragon: Monday to Wednesday they have beers for $2.50 until 7 p.m., but a word to the wise: Don't eat there.

8th Street Grill: Fridays are honored with jumbo, and we do mean jumbo, Long Island iced teas until 7 p.m. -- just in case you're feeling 21 again.

The Eagle: The only place in town to get 3-for-1s until 7 p.m. on Fridays. Bonus: You can drink them outside on the patio,

Club Jaeger: 2-for-1 rail drinks and domestic tap beers until 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday means you will be ready to dance yourself silly at Transmission on Wednesdays.

Others we missed that go until 7 p.m. or later?

The Rail Station on 37th & Minnehaha has happy hour until 7pm as well, in addition to the Uptown Bulldog. Also, Rudolph's happy hour kicks back in from 10pm until close (even on the weekends) so you can get back to those dirty 2-for-1s to go along with those dirty prostitutes that hang out on the weekends.

Lyle's has $2 beer and $3 Jameson 6-9 PM, then back to 2/1 on everything 9-11 PM - then to $2 taps until 1 AM. That's in addition to the 2/1 on everything 10 AM - 6 PM. That's 15 hours of Happy Hour, 7 days a week. So, unless you're holding out to cram it all into that last hour before close I'd say this is the best place in town for Happy Hour.

Lush in NE has 3 for 1 rail and tap beer from 4-9 p.m. Fridays.  Unlike the Eagle happy hour, there is no $5.00 wrist band to participate.  Also, the Eagle Friday deal is good all night in the Underground portion of the bar (basement beneath the Bolt side of the bar).
