The return of the king
If there wasn't already enough going on this weekend with Art-A-Whirl (we have a couple of the best bets on where to eat), Minnesota Monthly's Grill Fest, and Solo Vino's annual rose wine tent event, this Sunday also marks the return of the Kingfield Farmers Market.

Located at 43rd and Nicollet, near Driftwood Char Bar and Anodyne Coffeehouse, the market is home to some of the Twin Cities' best-loved vendors and food trucks, including Chef Shack (potentially putting down roots?), Sun Street Breads (our pick for Best Breakfast), Foxy Falafel (who just got a new food truck), Gai Gai Thai, Love Tree Farms (sheep's milk cheese and grass fed lamb), Bogart Loves Bakery (vegan breakfast cookies and buttermilk cake doughnuts), Singing Hills Goat Dairy, ice cream from Crema, and Braucher's Sunshine Harvest meats. What's new this year?
Expect to see a larger cafe area and a few new vendors, including Bliss Granola and Barn Swallow Garden -- a knitwear company. The Kingfield Market will also start accepting EBT as part of its mission to provide fresh local food to everyone, regardless of income level.

The market is open every Sunday from now until the end of October, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
