J. Arthur's Coffee: Try the grain-free cupcakes

Categories: Stuff We Like
J. Arthur's Coffee just opened a new drive-through, and the Roseville-based cafe celebrated with five days of festivities, including live music, various freebies, and samples of everything from coffee to grain-free cupcakes.

J. Arthur's offers coffee, tea, a variety of soups and stews, and some pastries. A tasty treat is the Affogato, a scoop of Castle Rock Organic Cream with a drizzle of Dogwood Coffee espresso. J. Arthur's is also the only place to offer grain-free cupcakes made by Simply Cupcakes. For anyone who limits grain intake but wants to also feed the sugar monster, these little cakes are a godsend. The Paleo-Indulgence cupcakes were fluffy and decadent. Salty chocolate caramel was on the menu, and though peanuts are technically not Paleo (being a legume), the peanut-butter-cup flavor featured chocolate cake with a ganache filling, peanut butter frosting, and a drizzle of chocolate.

Best Cupcakes Ever!  Grain Free, naturally sweetened, dairy free too!  I have tried all the flavors and they are amazing! Be careful not to eat too many at once:)

Each cupcake is lovingly created in a special commercial kitchen surrounded by organic gardens and fruit trees. Only the finest ingredients are hand selected for each stage of the process. Every unique cupcake is individually attended to until it has reached its full potential. Only then is it taken out of the baking oven and placed onto shining silver platter and decorated with care by a team of holistic health practitioners cross trained in fine arts.  Each cupcake is then ever so carefully placed into a pristine polymer or agriboard carton and delivered to the proper destination. -Enjoy

I had the cupcakes at the big Grand Opening, they were amazing!  The texture is very good, which is not always the case with grain free stuff!
