Much has been written about the fabulous food and beverage options at Target Field, but the focus is usually on the exclusive beers, beefy burgers, mega meatballs, and the classic nachos in a helmet. Now Target Field is getting recognition for being one of PETA's Top 10 vegan and vegetarian-friendly ball parks in America.
Here's where we ranked, and what foods got us there:

Target Field just barely made the list, sneaking into the No. 10 slot. Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park, though famous for its cheesesteaks, took first place for offering a vegan "chicken-steak" sandwich, mock BBQ beef, and veggie dogs, among other options.

Though PETA couldn't resist making a subtle burn about the Twins' record this season, the list praised Lee-Ann Chin's vegetarian stir-fry, the veggie tacos and burritos available in sections 105 and 305, vegan mousse martinis, and an "accidentally vegan" apple pie. Anyone know where that stand is?
Also representing the Midwest, Detroit's Comerica Park snagged the respectable third-place spot, and Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field made the list of honorable mentions.
