|The Bachelor Farmer is throwing a block-party blowout--and admission is FREE|
It's been a year of toasts and stars for the Bachelor Farmer. The Dayton brother's restaurant has racked up accolades and fans in its first year like few restaurants have ever done. In celebration, they plan to host a traditional Kräftskiva party, and we have all the details.
Kräftskiva is a traditional summer Nordic celebration in which the star celebrant is crayfish. On Saturday August 4, the Bachelor Farmer and Marvel Bar will move their operations outside. Second Avenue North between Azine Way and First Street North will be closed to host the party from 5 to 10 p.m.
In addition to the tasty little crustaceans, there will be meatballs and other menu favorites. Beverages will include Aquavit and Fulton beer. They will have live music as well, featuring Halloween, Alaska, DJ Jonathan Ackerman, Switzerlind and City on the Make (the last two include members of the restaurant and bar's staff).
"Our first year exceeded our expectations in every way, and this event is a chance for us to celebrate and thank our customers and neighbors for their incredible support," said Eric Dayton.
Entrance to the event is free.
