Insert Coins, the world's first video-game-themed nightclub, is coming soon to the Warehouse District in Minneapolis
Ya'll ready for this? Insert Coins, the world's first video-game-themed nightclub, has set its sights on Minneapolis for its new location. Opening in the old Karma spot across from the Fine Line in downtown Minneapolis, Insert Coins will host a variety of both new and retro digitally themed goodies.

According to the club, we can expect this to be more of an "entertainment attraction than just 'another nightclub'".

What are some of the things you'll be able to expect from Insert Coins? Look for a full bar outfitted with 45 refurbished, classic video game cabinets; HD video game stations featuring a variety of consoles, including Atari 2600, Super Nintendo, and XBOX 360; and a "motion sensor/3D gaming hallway sporting two 70-inch HDTVs." You'll also find a lot of locally based art and a video DJ, complete with a full-spectrum light show.

With all of its state-of-the-art tech, Sinicropi, the company behind the new game bar, hopes to become a premier location for video game tournaments and events.

As for food and drink, we don't know a lot of specifics yet, but it sounds as though Insert Coins will feature standard bar fare, including burgers and appetizers.

The whole thing should be up and running by late fall or early winter. We'll let you know once we get more details. For now you can visit the Insert Coins Minneapolis website.
