Minneapolis food trucks are ready for the Hollywood treatment

The Cooking Channel's chronicle of curbside dining has landed in town to check out our food truck scene. Eat Street travels the country seeking out delicious meals to be had al fresco. As the food truck phenomenon continues to sweep the nation, it makes sense that they'd want to cover our trucks, which have to get creative with our weather limitations.

With all the great trucks we've got in town, it couldn't have been easy to choose which trucks to cover.

Here's where they'll be filming in the next few days.

Today they were filming Smack Shack. Tomorrow they'll be in St. Paul with Sassy Spoon. Saturday they'll catch up with Scratch truck at Vinaigrette in Edina. On Sunday the crew will check out the Kingfield Farmer's Market and Chef Shack. Monday, Gastrotruck will get its close-up in Rice Park in downtown St. Paul, and Tuesday will be Fork in the Road in the same location.
