Midtown Global Market chefs set to compete in chili cook-off

The autumn leaves have been decorating our yards for a few short weeks, but the culinary signs of the season are no less abundant.  It simply wouldn't be fall in Minnesota without a chili cook-off. However, this particular event promises flavors that are anything but plain old Minnesotan.

On November 10 from noon to 2 p.m., guests at the Midtown Global Market are invited to sample a wide variety of chilis, made by the Midtown Global Market chefs.  After visiting each participating MGM vendor, participants can vote for their favorite chef. The winner will receive the highly coveted "People's Choice Award." And for the inspiration and ease of the home cook, all ingredients in every chili can be found on site, at Midtown Global Market.

A $5 donation is suggested to benefit Perspectives, a local nonprofit organization that provides transitional housing for homeless and at-risk families.
