As the bone-chilling winds begin to whistle, the food truck crews continue their search for warmer spaces to serve up their tasty grub. The Awesome Eats truck has just announced that it will be moving into the kitchen at the NE Palace.
What can patrons of this dive bar favorite expect to find on the menu?

Awesome Eats specializes in sandwiches that are a beautiful mess--topped with killer, fresh-made, beer-battered French fries, packed with deli meats like pastrami or turkey, and sealed with a melty-cheese kiss. Other sandwiches arrive with Spam (highly recommended in the Spam-o-sphere of Minnesota eats) or catfish, and they've even got tacos. They're still working out the final menu details for the new spot, but plan on some seriously substantial eats that will pair fantastically with the Palace's full-strength cocktails.
Reasonably priced food meets reasonably priced beer and cocktails with a side of local music: That means we've likely found a new favorite neighborhood watering hole for the long, dark months ahead.
