Let's get real. Many of us are the wait-till-the-last-minute types when it comes to booking those special holiday reservations. Well, friends, fear that procrastination bug no longer: We've scoped out some of the Twin Cities' top restaurants that still have seating available.
Whether you're looking to pregame with some fancy food or for something more romantic, you'll likely find a place on the list. Some of the restaurants listed here are even boasting special New Years Eve only menu's, so get now while the getting's good.
Birdhouse is offering a multi-course New Year's menu, and at last glance Birdhouse's big sister, Heidi's, also had a few late-night spots ready for filling.

South Minneapolis's Kings Wine Bar
has some slots available according to its Facebook page. You'll find a $30 four-course NYE menu with a slew of choices. Look for things like an arugula salad with a bacon vinaigrette and poached egg yolk, pan-seared diver scallops with bacon/mango basmatti rice, beef tenderloin with scalloped potatoes and caramelized baby carrots, and a chocolate ganache tart with a hazelnut crust. Several vegetarian options are available as well.

Downtown Minneapolis's Hell's Kitchen
is offering its full menu plus two specialty lobster dishes. For $45 you can get an 8- to 10-ounce cold-water lobster tail on pesto linguine with grilled baby carrots and steak. Or upgrade to a monster 18- to 20-ounce lobster tail for $53.
