They've already garnered endless praise from locals, and recently opened a second location at the Mall of America, but Tim McKee's northeast Minneapolis Japanese joint Masu Sushi and Robata has made the Travel + Leisure magazine's short list as one of the very best sushi restaurants in the country. The list places our local darling in the same league as places like the notoriously extravagant and exclusive 10-seat (yes, that's right, 10) Urasawa in Los Angeles, where dinner for you and your date will run you about as much as a decent laptop; the innovative Uchi in Austin; and longtime favorite Sushi Ran in San Francisco.
