|Butcher & the Boar's beer bash features Surly, sausages, and music|
We know, there's already so
much to do on Sundays in January that it would be impossible to fit in one more event (obviously we jest). The Minneapolis meat mavens at Butcher & the Boar
are trying to break the cabin fever by hosting a beer bash in their heated
beer garden. The beer bash starts at 4 p.m. on Sunday and rolls into the evening hours, finishing up at 10 p.m. The event will feature live music, sausages, and Surly beer.
Butcher & the Boar makes impressive debut (review)
Butcher & the Boar: The tour
On tap you can expect to find seven Surly taps, along with a fancy firkin of Abrasive. You can also expect to find a house-made sausage pairing in case you need a little extra to help get the beer down.

Butcher & the Boar will also host a house-made-meat raffle that will take place once an hour.
The event will feature live music from local acoustic artists Aaron Berdofe & Dan Israel, from 6 till 8 p.m.
Swing by with a canned good, get a free beer, listen to some cool music, win some meat, and then maybe swing inside for an order of grilled oysters and a long rib. Sounds like a pretty decent little Sunday to us.
