Butcher & the Boar announces one-year anniversary and St. Patrick's Day celebration
On March 17, Butcher & the Boar celebrates one with year in business with a St. Patrick's Day-Beer Bash Mashup
The local meat and bourbon slingers at Butcher & the Boar have decided to age with grace and dignity by setting up its one-year anniversary to coincide with its monthly beer bash and St. Patrick's Day. The mega-fest will take place on Sunday, March 17, and will feature a variety of events and Irish-themed goodies.
The announcement was made over the weekend through Butcher & the Boar's Facebook page and promises live Irish music, bourbon-cask aged brews, and Irish food done Butcher & the Boar style.
The restaurant will shut down for the evening so everybody can party proper, and all festivities will take place in the heated beer garden. The event will include hourly meat raffles and will feature live music from Jolly Groggers, Broken Spoke, and Four Pints Shy.

The anniversary-St.Patrick's extravaganza will feature multiple bourbon-casked beers, which include Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout, Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout, Stone Bourbon Oaked Old Guardian, and He'Brew Schmaltz Genesis 15:15. They also have a special secret brew that they've opted to not disclose yet.
