|Ready for one hell of a wedding party|
As supporters for marriage equality gather at the capitol, Hell's Kitchen
has made an interesting offer. As supporters and opponents have engaged in debate, Hell's Kitchen has been a vocal supporter for the equal rights of their friends and staff to have the right to make their committed relationships recognized by the state. Today, they took their support one step further putting their money where their mouths are.

In a Facebook post today the restaurant offered to host a free wedding celebration for a same-sex couple in anticipation of legislation passing. In their statement they said, "Anticipating that within the next few days, same-sex marriage will finally be signed into Minnesota law, Hell's Kitchen would like to congratulate our beloved GLBT community with a free wedding celebration for one same-sex couple wishing to marry on Thursday, August 1, the very first day it will finally be possible."
The wedding would be for up to 100 guests at the restaurant. The celebration would include champagne, a dinner buffet, linens, bartenders, servers, free parking for guests and even live music during the dinner. Their pastry chefs up at Angel Food Bakery will provide a rainbow cake and "a spectacular array of pride cupcakes on sparkling tiered platters."
But what's a wedding without a dance floor? DJ Shannon Blowtorch, who knows a thing or three about how to rock a party, has offered to spin the dance tunes.
They even have a stage to hold the ceremony on and two of their owners are ordained non-denominational ministers. Imagine the story of saying you were married by Mitch Omer.
Couples interested in consideration should email firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight May 28. Providing all goes well at the capitol, they will choose a winner on June 1.
After posting their offer, florists and photographers also chimed in offering their services gratis. For more information, check out the original post
