French Corner Bakery now open in Minneapolis

Croissant, wine, cheese, and all things French at the south end of Nicollet Mall
Bonjour, downtown diners. The old Dahl Pharmacy space on 12th Street & Nicollet Mall has been transformed into a 40-seat cafe, complete with wine and beer service, called French Corner Bakery. The bakery is open now, owned by Vladimir and Nadia Storchak and Chrystel Klein, reports the Downtown Journal.

During regular hours (6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays), French Corner will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring pastries and coffee; soups, salads, and sandwiches; and to-go box lunches for the busy downtown crowd.

Correction: It was previously reported the grand opening party would be open to the public; however, it is a closed, invitation-only event. The general public can drop by the bakery during regular business hours.
