|Can we get this drink to go?|
One of the most buzzed about restaurants of 2013 has announced it is taking the party outside. On Sunday, August 25, Borough is throwing a block party -- and we're all invited. Because these are the guys who elevated potato soup to edible art and created a craft cocktail scene that feels like a neighborhood bar, this party is like nothing you'll find at the end of a cul du sac.
The party will go from noon until 6 p.m. outside the restaurant's North Loop location. Food served will include a pig roast and a pop-up tent from wunderkind chefs of Travail. Could it be -- a foie gras tree grows in Borough?
Beer from 612Brew will be flowing, as will cocktails from Jesse Held and the team from Parlour. There will also be live music and what's billed as "surprise guests."
Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased here
, or $30 at the door. The ticket cost covers food and one drink. For more information, visit the Facebook event page
