Hot Indian Foods will be one of about a dozen trucks at this weekend's Great MN Food Truck Rally
Everyone seems to have enjoyed Cocktails at the Castle last night at ASI (if you missed it this time around, they'll be hosting another one soon), but it's the weekend now and the weekend is time for beer.

Top billing goes to the very first Great Minnesota Food Truck Rally at Harriet Brewing this Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. About a dozen trucks with gather in the parking lot including: A La Plancha, Gogi Brothers, Hot Indian Foods (all new to the streets this season), Messy Giuseppe, and R.A. MacSammy's. There will be live music going on all day, Harriet brews will be flowing from the taproom, and a portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Second Harvest Heartland. So drink up and remember to bring some non-perishable food items to donate to the food shelf.

Here are some other great beer bets going on this weekend.
Also happening Saturday is New Belgium Brewery's Tour De Fat in Loring Park. Festivities start at 12:00 p.m. and will go until 5:00. Participate in the all-ability levels bike parade or just show up to try ten different beer varieties including Ranger IPA, Rampant Imperial IPA, and Shift pale lager. Natedogs, Burrito Loco, Mr. Mustachio's, and Pizzeria Lucia will all be in attendance in case all the biking and drinking makes you peckish.

Vellee Deli will be parked at Fulton Brewery taproom tonight and Tollefson Family Grill will be there tomorrow.

Hot Indian Foods will also be at the Summit Brewery taproom tonight where Saga IPA is on tap and trivia goes from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Summit will also be the official beer representative at BaconFest at the Lowry on Saturday.

AZ Canteen will be at Steel Toe Brewing taproom tonight and Sassy Spoon will be parked there tomorrow. Sommer Vice is on tap along with several other standby brews.

World Street Kitchen and Be' Wiched Deli will be selling their wares at Lucid Brewing's BFD (Brewer for a Day) event on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are still available here. Lucid's signature brews like Air, Dyno, Foto, and Silo will be available onsite.

Great info, thanks for this. I only have time today to visit one brewery, and Dangerous Man has the best beers in the TC in my opinion (outside of Surly), so no food trucks for me. Grabbing some Anchor Fish and Chips though and bringing it to the brewery is a nice consolation prize though.

Now this is newsworthy. This is going to be a great event. I recommend the Summit Tap Room.
