On Wednesday, August 14, the next Gastro Non Grata will rock the Turf Club beginning at 7 p.m. The price of admission includes beer and food samples. Surly will be serving their beloved brews, and Landon Schoenefeld from Haute Dish (last year's Iron Fork winner) will bring samples of his delicious foodstuffs.
|Food, brews, music, and possibly a celebrity sighting|
The music lineup includes Union Suits, Year of the Horse (a Solid Gold side project), and White Bronco Buddies, who the Gastro Non Grata planners described as an "amalgam of talented players, crafty word spitters, and musical personalities in town. You know them, we're just not going to tell you who they are." Additionally, DJ Shannon Blowtorch will keep the party rolling between sets with her dazzling mix of tunes to make your toes tap.
As always, attendees will also have the chance to win the Dead Meat Door Prize courtesy of Clancey's Meats.
Plus, local chef turned worldwide television celebrity Andrew Zimmern will be on hand with his crew to film the festivities for his web series.
All this entertainment is available for the low price of just $10 in advance or $12 at the door (if tickets don't sell out). As an additional enticement, the first few tickets will also come with a free hoodie! Tickets are available online here
