After the last rolicking Tastemakers series, the bar has been set high for Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine
's panel series. Wednesday evening, they are once again gathering those who lead by example, this time to discuss what it takes to run your own successful business. Even better? They're bringing samples of their delicious wares.
The culinary talents of Steven Brown inspired a passionate following of food fans, who have tracked his career as he opened several critically lauded restaurants in the Twin Cities. Arguably, it wasn't until he began working for himself that he finally found the perfect formula for success at Tilia
Michelle Gayer's talents have brought her from Charlie Trotter's to her sweet little Salty Tart inside Midtown Global Market and all the way to the James Beard Awards. No matter what she makes, she brings the pretty to her every endeavor.
Paul Werni and Scott Davis have taken their Parallel 45 brand into a successful and delicious locally distillery. Bourbon fans will be happy to hear that they will be bringing samples to share with the crowd -- as will Gayer and Brown.
The panel will be led by MSP's own tastemaker and senior editor Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl. Before the discussion, guests are invited to mingle and sample a little nosh beginning at 6 o'clock at the Ritz Theater. After snacks, Moskowitz Grumdahl will lead a discussion on the secrets of their entrepreneurial success.
