With three different beer-centered events all happening within a four block radius, the West Bank is definitely the place to be this weekend. But let's not skip over one of the end-of-summer-fests beer drinkers look forward to for ringing in the next brew season. Tilia's annual Augtoberfest is this Sunday starting at noon at running until 9:00 p.m. They'll be debuting several Oktoberfest style releases from various breweries, including ones from Fulton, Excelsior, and Harriet Brewing. Admission to the zero-waste event is just $3 and you can find out more about the bands playing here.

Here's more on the more beer, bocce, and block party events going on this weekend.

Also going on this Sunday is a screening of a film called Beer Hunter at Republic Seven Corners. At 2:00 p.m., the bar will be showing this documentary about the life and influence of Michael Jackson (not that one), one of the most prolific and influential writers on the subjects of beer and whiskey. Tickets to the screening are $15 and include complimentary beer and cheese to enjoy during the film. A portion of the proceeds will be going to Parkinson's research, a disease Jackson battled for nearly a decade.

There are two more events of interest to beer nerds going on in the West Bank. First, Town Hall Brewery will be hosting a bocce ball tournament this weekend on its newly sodded patio. Teams will compete in a minimum of four games on Saturday, with the top eight teams competing on Sunday for a cash prize of $1,000. Even if you don't want to roll the balls, you can show up at noon on Saturday for  a hog roast, Town Hall beer, and door prizes. Organize and enter your team here. Second is the West Bank Music Festival happening on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00. Reps from Surly will be in attendance, pouring Overrated, Hell, Bitter Brewer, Cynic, Cacao Bender, and Urine Trouble.

Zeke's Unchained Animal will be hosting its first unchained block party this Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00. Food will be served all day with a full lineup of live music and they'll be pouring beers from Harriet and Boom Island Brewing.

As always, food trucks will be parked at the brewery taprooms this weekend. Here are a handful of highlights:
 - AZ Canteen will be at Surly's taproom this afternoon and into the evening
 - Hibachi Daruma will be at Pour Decisions taproom tonight
 - Cafe Racer will be at Harriet Brewing tonight and Gogi Bros. will be there Saturday
 - Midnord Empanadas will be at Indeed Brewing tonight and Simply Steve's on Saturday
 - Simply Steve's will be at 612Brew tonight and Lulu's Street Food and Saucy Burt's will be parked outside tomorrow
 - Hot Indian Foods will be at Steel Toe's taproom tonight and Scratch Food Truck on Saturday
