Walker Art Center will be handing out the Cheerios boxes until they run out starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 7.

The celebration doesn't stop with the cereal -- custom cakes from Salty Tart and D'Amico will show off sweet representations of the Sculpture Garden.

First Free Saturday goes from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. with tons of activities for art lovers and families alike from autumn activities (you can even learn how to create your own flavor of tea) to the closure of Fritz Haeg's artist residency.

Win your own custom-designed box of Cheerios from the Walker. Share your favorite memory of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden in the comments.

We'll choose three people at random as our winners!

My Voice Nation Help

I think seeing The Decemberists perform their rock opera The Hazards of Love at Rock the garden is one of my great concert and sculpture garden memories

I live about 2.5 hours away, but every time I'm in the area I make a stop at the Sculpture Garden.  I have numerous pictures of people "eating" the cherry and when I look back at the pictures I always laugh.  Such a neat area!

Lots of fun Sculpture Garden memories, but the best is easily our wedding ceremony under the Prophecy of the Ancients dome!

Bringing my nieces to the sculpture garden when they visited from New York, they loved it and we got lots of great pictures together!
