Chipotle to donate 50 percent of sales today to Como Park Zoo and Conservatory

Planning lunch for today? Area Chipotle restaurants will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the Como Zoo. Here's what you have to do:

Just bring in this image printed out or on your smartphone to any Chipotle in Minnesota. They will donate 50 percent of the proceeds from your order to the Como Zoo, up to $35,000.

I do feel a bit peckish
This isn't the first pairing of the fast-food joint and the Como Zoo. Chipotle also sponsors the Edible Garden at the Conservatory, which features a variety of fruits and vegetables in an effort to show visitors how easy it is to grow their own food.

Chipotle has made a push recently to further distance itself from other speedy eateries by not sourcing from factory farms. A recent viral video, made to promote a new video game app, shows a scarecrow, disheartened by big-business agriculture, deciding to grow and sell his own food. Watch the short animated film here.
