|A dinner deal with a killer view|
First Thursdays at the Walker Art Center are always an excellent excuse to soak in some stunning works of art and experience the culinary expertise of not one, but two talented chefs. Admission to the museum is free from 5 to 9 p.m. and Gather by D'Amico
, that giant robot-head-looking restaurant affixed to the Walker Art Center, presents free small plates crafted by in-house chef Josh Brown and one guest chef. This week, Gather announced the next two guest toques to serve as chefs-in-residence.
On Thursday, October 3rd, guests can experience a little D'Amico on D'Amico action as Charlie Schwandt, chef-de-cuisine of D'Amico's Parma 8200 serves up some of his Italian influenced creations, while Josh Brown serves the refreshing, elegant dishes Gather is known for.
On November 7th, The Bachelor Farmer
's celebrated chef Paul Berglund will take a turn as guest chef.
Just to reiterate: The two dishes created by the chefs-in-residence are free, as is the museum admission. As you might imagine, seats fill up fast, so make your reservations today. For more information, visit the Walker website
