It used to be that you needed to be invited to a special event to catch a glimpse of the private dining area upstairs at the Bachelor Farmer. They are now beginning to open up the room for exclusive dinners like an upcoming event featuring Hank Shaw
in honor of his new book, Duck, Duck, Goose
The meal will be cooked collaboratively by Hank Shaw and the Bachelor Farmer's executive chef, Paul Berglund, and served family-style. Each course will be paired with wine from the cellar, and cocktails will be crafted by barman extraordinaire Pip Hanson.
The dinner will held Wednesday, October 9, in the Bachelor Farmer's Library Room, beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $145 each, which includes tax and gratuity. To make reservations, call the restaurant at 612-206-3920.
