|Coming back better than ever|
After suffering major damage from a water main break nearly a month ago, Aster Cafe
is finally ready to re-open in style.
Though today, October 2, was the original projected date for them to be back in business, the restaurant just announced they will be bumping that date to October 10, when they will host a grand re-opening party.
Of all the restaurants along St. Anthony Main, including Tugg's
, and Pracna
, Aster was hit hardest by the water main break. The cafe's booking agent Dana Thompson reported that at one point water levels reached nearly four feet in the restaurant and the adjoining River Room event space. Thankfully, they were able to get started on repairs quickly and were even able to work on re-writing their new fall menu during the closure.
Aster is inviting customers to drop by between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. on October 10 to celebrate the re-opening properly -- with a champagne toast. Check out the restaurant's Facebook page
for more details.
