The gastronomic merrymakers behind the annual Gastro Non Grata event are at it again. This year's mash-up of the Twin Cities food and music scene has been scheduled for the Sunday before Thanksgiving. On November 24, attendees will feast on delicious bites of food from one the hottest restaurants of 2013 and listen to some serious rock 'n' roll. Here's the lineup:
Burch Steak and Pizza will be bringing the food samples (included in the price of admission) to share with guests between the music sets. Surly will be pairing their cult-inspiring brews with each course.

Organizers Craig Drehmel and Jeff Mitchell promise a fast, hard, and heavy music lineup including Narco States, Green Bay punk stalwarts Rev Norb and the Onions, and Dumpster Juice, billed as "The Motorhead of Minneapolis." In between bands, DJ Shannon Blowtorch will spin the perfect mix of classic hits and newer sounds.
As always, Clancey's Meat and Fish -- just one of the sponsors of the event -- will share select cuts from their deep freezers for the Dead Meat Door Prize. Your chances look equally good for taking home either a pound of zesty chorizo or an entire beef heart. (If it comes to the latter, may we suggest pickling it?)
The party starts at 6 p.m. As always, these tickets are ridiculously affordable at just $12 in advance or $15 at the door. For more information, visit the Facebook page.
