It's "Festivus for the rest of us" at Town Hall Brewery tomorrow. The annual Seinfeld-inspired tradition eschews religion and commercialism in favor of community, and that's just what Town Hall sought in hosting it.

"[We wanted] to bring the Town Hall community together before everyone leaves or becomes preoccupied with the holiday season," explains owner Pete Rifakes. "People celebrate their faiths in a variety of ways, and Festivus allows us to create an event without displacing any of our customers."

For Town Hall, Festivus means uniting everyone with a complimentary Festivus beer (Imperial Wit) and complimentary Glug (Swedish spiced wine), in addition to the "traditional" Festivus pole, a bonfire, the Airing of the Grievances, the Feats of Strength, and M&M cupcakes. The Imperial Wit, a Belgian white, has a strong orange character and, per Rifakes, "will help keep you warm outside by the fire." The Glug offers a touch of seasonal variety.

Town Hall's Festivus is held on the brewery's patio -- in rain, snow, or sunshine -- so dress accordingly and bone up on those Seinfeld references.
