7. The Chart Topper at Glam Doll Donuts

Be brave and stray from your usual glazed donut; try something really different this time: the Chart Topper donut. It's a cake donut covered in peanut butter, peanuts, and Sriracha sauce. Yes, it's a daring move, but a rather tasty one.

6. Peanut butter waffle at the Lowry

Start your day (or cure your hangover) with this Belgian waffle with vanilla custard, peanuts, and a heaping spoonful or two of crunchy Skippy. The Lowry knows how to do a decadent breakfast.

5. Homemade peanut butter at Hell's Kitchen

Made by restaurant owner Mitch Omer, this nationally recognized PB will blow the lid off your Jif. Don't take our word for it: You can buy it online or in the restaurant, and in celebration of National Peanut Butter Day, each jar is 20 percent off all weekend.

4. Peanut butter bacon burger at Bulldog NE

If Elvis were here today, we bet he'd love this one. The Bulldog doesn't just add their homemade maple peanut butter to this burger -- they also throw in bacon and a fried egg and serve it all on a croissant bun. It's a crazy concoction gone absolutely right. Bring your appetite though; this burger can easily make for two meals.

3. Peanut butter ice cream at Sebastian Joe's

Frozen treats can be a hard business during Minnesota winters, but Sebastian Joe's stays popular and busy year-round. Their full flavor menu is overwhelming so it's probably a good thing they only serve a fraction of that list daily. If you're lucky enough to stumble in on a peanut butter ice cream day, don't turn it down. This variety is light, with just the right kick of saltiness. The cream doesn't overpower the peanut butter flavor or vice versa.

2. Peanut butter stuffed jalapeno poppers at Butcher and the Boar

Jalapeno poppers appear on menus everywhere because they're great bar food -- greasy, spicy, perfect with a beer -- but, for the most part, they all kind of taste the same. Not so with Butcher and the Boar's rendition. They've filled the jalapenos with their house-made PB, and the final product is irresistible. Yes, it sounds odd at first, but something about this combination just works.

1. Peanut butter and jelly French toast at World Street Kitchen

This once food truck, now permanent spot off Lyndale in Uptown is one of our favorites for their tacos and rice bowls but we've also found a fantastically unique peanut butter breakfast dish sure to knock your socks off. The "PB &J" French toast probably isn't what you picture. Grilled Hawaiian sweet bread with a subtle hint of vanilla is topped with sour cherry jam, loads of peanut butter caramel, salted peanuts, and whipped cream. This dish is a diet breaker, but well worth the extra hours at the gym.
