They look warm
What better way to warm up mid-winter than with a little vodka and some beautiful art? The current exhibition at the Museum of Russian Art follows the tale of the Romanov family and the legacy of their lost empire, and to celebrate the exhibit and face the frigid season with a bit of Russian flair, the museum is also hosting a night of robust vodka toasts.

Beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, docents will take attendees on a tour of the exhibition inside the museum. Attendees will follow the rise and fall of the Romanov dynasty, from the 1613 election of sixteen-year-old Mikhail Romanov as tsar to the tragic end of the lineage with the dispersal of the family and the ensuing Bolshevik revolution.

After the tour, guests will board a bus and head over to St. Petersburg Restaurant and Vodka Bar in Robbinsdale for a full vodka tasting experience, featuring six different vodkas paired with a dinner menu designed to celebrate Russia. Diners can chose from an entree of beef stroganoff, salmon "Romanov," or a St. Petersburg salad.

Tickets are available for $80 ($5 discount available to TMORA members) and can be purchased online here. All proceeds will benefit the museum.
