There's still time to say goodbye to The Lynn on Bryant
We're crying salty tears into our sweet Baba Rhums. The Lynnhurst neighborhood will be a little less sweet: Yesterday owner Peter Ireland announced that the Lynn on Bryant will close.

It was just two weeks ago that we were singing the praises of the perfect chicken inside this sweet neighborhood spot and now we know we only have a few days left to dine there.

The restaurant never found its footing the way that Ireland had hoped it would. Rather than run it into the ground, he's hoping to stay open long enough to allow his employees to transition into new positions.

For the last few bites of those killer chickpea fries, stop in for dinner sometime in the next two weeks, or for brunch this weekend. Ireland will slow down operations two weeks from now and begin only accepting reservations for private events until the restaurant shutters altogether, according to the Star Tribune.

We wish everyone involved the best of luck and thank them for the meal memories.

Oh, OK. Another "niche" place that couldn't make it in a rich neighborhood...

The food is good, the service never kept up with the quality of the food. I hope someplace great moves into the space - I like that neighborhood spot!

nooo :/ . I mean, I tried to get seated for a walk in last week and they were too packed to even have a wait. Sad to hear they still won't make it.

Change it to take out deli and it just might work. Space was not big enough to hold people comfortably and it was loud with the interior finishes. It could be saved.
