From noon to 6 p.m., the co-op will host live music, an Indeed Brewery beer garden, food trucks (think O'Cheeze, Chef Shack, and Hot Indian Food, among others), and group discussions on topics such as healthy, local eating. Did we mention entrance is free?

Set in between Lyndale and Garfield Avenues on 22nd Street, the block party will give event goers the opportunity to meet the pros behind the produce at the Meet the Farmers Tent. Local farms including Gardens of Eagan, Ferndale Market, and Hoch Orchard will have people on hand to answer any questions you might have about resourceful eating.

Wedge CEO Josh Resnik credits the co-op's 40-year success to people's growing understanding of "locally grown, responsibly sourced food."

I love the wedge! I kind of had a weird/snotty experience there with some employees last weekend but everyone can have one bad day I guess. Can't wait for their location on Nicollet.

I had one a couple weeks ago but let it go... Everyone can have a bad day or maybe something bad happened but still employees need to make the best.. I can't not wait for the new spot too! It will be nice to have a real deil like other co-ops besides buying pre cut cheese and... Funny how McDonald is right next door...
